Will you be adding more maps soon? Also, maybe add a single player mode.

Hi, I noted  last night (24th August) that you will be removing Suli Fallen Harmony from the Steam store.  I would dearly like to support you by buying a Steam key before the game is removed, but I don't get my  pension until the first week in September and money is very tight at the moment especially as I've just received my first energy bills since the  recent price hikes.  .  Can you tell me what day the game will be removed as you don't give any information as to when it's being removed from the store.

You can contact me  on my email  as I'm more likely to see your response there than  here.

It's fantastic that you are offering your game  free here on Itch.io. but I prefer to keep all of my games in one place rather  than  swap between various  providers.

got this originally from a groupees bundle (build a bundle 33  July 2017, only just got around to redeeming it five years later, lol

I've posted a review of the game over on Steam which you can see HERE

I will be updating it at some point in the not too distant future once I've got several hours of game play under my belt as the review  needs tidying up and  adding some additional information.

I'm impressed by the fact you've obviously spent a lot of time on this labour of love and to be honest and  also very surprised that it  doesn't have more reviews;  apart from mine,  I only counted three others (all of which were short but  positive).  For a breakout with so many original features it deserves a much wider  audience, especially as its dirt cheap as well.  Apart from   games on sale, it's among the cheapest games on Steam.

I'd love to see a re-release of this game but with  much better graphics.  If that was possible, I reckon this game would be worth  a lot more money and would also be very popular; especially among  those who, like me, love breakout/arkanoids.  There has been a drought on breakouts for the past  decade, with  only rare releases every so often.

As I mention in my Steam review; apart from one game called Breakquest, which has beautiful graphics and 100  original looking  levels (each level looks totally different from the previous one with respect to brick types) I've never come across any other game that has so many  original features and  such a large number of  power-up's.  I'm very very very  impressed.

Please do consider the above idea.  Giving the bricks  a fresh and more modern  look (including the power-ups etc) would  be amazing.

Thank you for releasing this excellent game.  :)

Good luck with any future game project you may be involved in.

Well, it took two years to reply, but I'm pleased to say this game works perfectly now.  It's a very unusual  breakout; which is my  main requisite for buying  new breakouts these days  because I have hundreds of this genre collected over the years since I first purchased one back in the early 90's.

I do intent  writing a review of this game over on Steam at some point (again, when I get the time;  at the moment I'm trying to arrange a visa to visit my family in Australia; I've just lost my uncle  a few days ago and want to attend the funeral).

I'll also be recommending this whenever their is a game given away via the game giveawayoftheday   project site, where I often post reviews of games.  whenever a breakout is given away I tend to post  recommendations  for other breakouts to check out. This will be included from now on.

:)

Stay safe

It depends on which  version of Unity the developer is using.  You can see the latest version  requirements for  the 2022 version of Unity  via the following link:

Unity - Manual: System requirements for Unity 2022.1 (beta) (unity3d.com)

I happened to discover a fix simply by chance. When you start the game you get the menu still present throughout the game until you've either destroyed all the Russian Tanks or you are destroyed. After a few moments I'd had enough of the game because the menu was too distracting; so I pressed the Esc key , which pauses the game, then, instead of returning to the main menu I pressed the continue button; hey presto, the menus disappear and you can play without the menu present. Problem solved.

(1 edit)

Unfortunately, this game is unplayable for me because the menus (i.e. Continue, Restart  & Main Menu) remain on screen in the centre over the firing reticule permanently throughout game play.

This is a real pity as   from the images on this page and the little of what I  saw while trying to get rid of the menu,  the game looks like a decent arcade tank shooter.

See image below:

It looks like   the first two levels have somehow been combined.  It's impossible to  progress to the next level becasue  the first level is impossible to  complete.

(1 edit)

The basic premise of this game is to deliver goods to various places around the world. You start the game by attempting to navigate your truck with  a trailer through a practice route. I spent well over an hour in two  sessions trying to get the truck around what looks like an impossible task.

The first level is just too hard (IMO). THIS

video shows repeated failures to navigate around a really sharp bend and should give you the gist of what this game is about.

After over an hour of many failed attempts  and the fact I wasn't able to  progress further I gave up on the game.

It's way too hard (seems impossible) from the outset considering the length of the trailer and the  area you have to turn the vehicle and trailer in.

It's a pity because the game looks quite promising from the different choices you can see from the screen captures I've posted in my  non review of the game  HERE

Sadly, I don't have the patience to continue with this game after over  an hour of at least  50 failed attempts at  completing the first task.

Note to the developer:

Is it actually possible to  drive the vehicle around that bend without touching any of the   barriers?  If it is, please  add a video showing it being  completed.

Thankyou.

The Game:

The basics of the game are,  you pick up  various loads to deliver around the Taiga, enter  competitions and rescue people  to earn XP and cash. Which can then be used to unlock  various  upgrades for your truck.   Because of the adverse weather you have to  complete certain tasks to   survive in the harsh environments. Cold, thirst and hunger are your worst enemies.

The game includes a 26 page  manual explaining what you need to do to survive.  I've taken screen captures of each  page of the manual, which I've  posted as a separate  comment attached to the original review which I've included a link to at the bottom of this comment.    If you read those it will give you some idea as to the various equipment  used in  this game.

There are three  bar indicators in the bottom left of the screen   the top one (Red) indicates your hunger,  the bottom one  (Blue)  how cold you are  and the  the middle one (Green) is your strength, which can be partially recovered by  pitching your tent and sleeping. This is accomplished by opening up the inventory by pressing the 'right mouse button' (RMB).  Then scrolling  to the tent symbol.  Doing this will pitch your tent. To enter move to the front of the tent where you'll see a ZZZ  indicator  in yellow Walk to this and press  the 'left mouse button' (LMB).  This will add an indeterminate amount of sleep. You can see     time pass outside the tent while you are asleep.   This does not  restore your strength completely, plus  sleep length and hunger are not controlled.   To warm yourself up,  you  first need to collect  wood (the manual suggests  finding wood near trees, which  guarantees  a better supply)  to pick up wood, stand near it and a hand should appear, press the  'enter key' to pick up; you can pick up a maximum of five piles of wood.  Access the inventory  then scroll to the  camp fire symbol.  If you have no wood, this will  be red in colour  and cannot be lit until you've collected at least one pile of wood.  Fires will slowly die down unless you add another pile to the fire.   If you have no wood, you can still place the fire stones, but they remain red in colour.    Other   inventory  symbols include the  phone, which gives you access to  your route, the time and temperature as well as important points on the map, which are indicated  with different coloured  dots, i.e.

  1. Green = Garage
  2. Yellow =   Place to take order
  3. Red =  Gas/Petrol Station
  4. Sky Blue = Competition ''Climb Way''
  5. Royal Blue = Rescue Mission
  6. Violet =  Hotel

If you are on an exploratory walk about, it will also show you where your truck is.  So long as you have your phone selected and are on foot, a  wheel symbol will appear in the direction of the truck as well as a red triangle on the phones map.     Other symbols on the inventory bar  include a  petrol/gas can, which tells you how much spare fuel in litres you have.  You can fill this to a maximum of 20 litres   when visiting a garage or sometimes find spare cans of fuel laying around  various bases.  To refill your vehicle  go to the  fuel tank, which will appear yellow when you  select  the  fuel cannister symbol in the inventory  and are are opposite it,  then press the LMB to refill the tank.  You can see how much fuel you have left in your vehicle  via the fuel indicator inside your cab.    A torch symbol which is useful for finding  wood and food at night, plus canned food, which help to  keep hunger at bay.   You can carry up to 10  cans of food.   To restock, visit a warehouse or hotel.  To use   food, select the can symbol  then select which food  you want. This will then bring up  a burner with a pan  symbol.   Place this in a suitable position  then press the LMB to warm up.  When the pan turns green, your food is ready; to eat press LMB again.  To exit the  inventory without accessing any of the main symbols  select the middle   one that looks like a triangle then press LMB.

There are various tasks that can be  carried out  to gain experience and cash, both of which are required to improve your vehicle and the former to increase your experience level, which in turn makes it easier to complete some tasks more effectively; for example,  when entering a competition   i.e. the Climb Way, You have to climb the  track for a specific  amount of time  to reach the finish.    Completing   the climb way competitions will  gain  experience points which unlock better parts to upgrade your vehicle, which in turn will increase your performance in these competitions.   There are also rescue operations  and delivery    jobs that give you  rewards.   So long as you deliver  the items you have picked up undamaged  you will be paid cash to help towards  improving your truck as well as to purchase  other items such as food.  You can stock up on provisions  either via the hotel (food) and the petrol/gas station (fuel).  When you pick up  a cargo delivery  it will give you a map of the route, the  distance to the delivery point, the time it should take and the amount of  reward in dollars and XP.  You can choose to accept, or  close the offer via the green and red buttons.

To upgrade your vehicle approach the   green symbol that looks like a pair of crossed  wrenches above a green circle in the tarmac/concrete that is  opposite the yellow   doors of a garage.

Inside the garage you can upgrade your vehicle in several ways; for example   improve the engine, gears, front and rear fenders, the  boot/trunk and   the paint work.  Each of these has several upgrades, each one an improvement on the previous, but to be able to use   better upgrades for each of the categories you  require more  cash and  be  a specific level before you can use the upgrade.  For example  with respect to the engine,  there are eight upgrades, each of which improves the horse power of the engine. With respect to the gears,   the  higher the  level, the better your gears  for example at level   eight you can upgrade your gears    with ten gears including two reverse gears  called a type 154; at level ten  you can upgrade to a type ZF-16 with 16 gears.   There are twenty paint jobs that become patterned  after  you attain level 4, such as  Winter Forest (looks similar to a displaced pattern army  uniform)  and Leopard.  To exit the garage  press the World button or to return to the main menu  press  the menu button.

Conclusion:

Overall Taiga Car Driver is a decent enough survival/truck delivery  game; especially for  it's $5 asking price here on Itch.io.   I'd like to see this  released  to Steam.

There are a few negatives such as the time it takes  for the initial Falcoware  splash screen to disappear, which takes almost a minute to  complete, also, when moving from the garage  back to your truck, it can take several seconds with a black screen, same for exiting  other   places.

Also, picking up wood   so that you can create  a fire can be a  bit fiddly; you should see a hand appear   before you are standing over any wood pile. As soon as a hand appears, press the left mouse button to pick it up.    Also,  the headlights on the vehicle are  really dim, so the road ahead is barely visible and  it's really easy to lose  sight the road, or turn offs  at night  due to it being partially or completely  covered in snow; so, I advise avoiding  night  trips unless you   get a  night based contract.

I accidentally wandered off the road while trying to  get to a place to pick up an order; next thing I found my truck  almost toppling over in a depression in the ground and was not able to extricate myself from the   place, so I thought I had to  restart  a new game, which loses all your progress.  This may have been because I had the   least powered engine with the poorest  gears.  I'm sure with upgrades   the vehicle will perform better, but   with the basic  vehicle  it felt  really slow travelling from A to B.  I would avoid travelling at night unless it was absolutely necessary. That said, if you  get stuck, then leave the game (I used Alt + F4, when you   click on the continue button, you'll find yourself near a garage.

The game could do with a  decent tutorial at the beginning of the game.  There is one of sorts, but it doesn't explain  how to survive very well; for example,  If you are out of your truck for more than a few moments, you'll notice   the edges of  your vision  look misted up (depending on the outside temperature, this may happen  very  quickly).  This indicates you are freezing (the lower bar indicator also gives an indication of how cold you are' when entering the truck cab or lighting a fire, you'll notice this reduces to zero slowly. If you don't return to your  truck, enter a garage or hotel  or light a fire quickly, you'll freeze to death and  that's the end of the game.

Brilliant and timeless game that is one of my all time favourite  breakouts.  I'm still hoping to see the original Action Ball released on Steam either as   new addition to the Steam  store or as a DLC for Action Ball 2. I prefer the latter, but a DLC would be cool as well.  :)

Stay safe in these uncertain times.

Hi,

Firstly, thank you for allowing this game to be given away over on the Game giveawayoftheday via Falcoware games.

Unfortunately I  feel that it is an unfinished project because there are too many  game spoiling  issues such as  the loss of all your money if you  return to the main menu,   money not saved if you close the game down, the inability to  actually buy any of the  other vehicles because  the money you earn disappears; also,   the inability to   change the colour of your vehicle or use different wheel rims or other  configurations such as manoeuvrability, speed and   braking because you cannot access  any of the buttons  that allow you to carry out these  changes because the buttons to do so  are situated behind the  games  title plus the ones you have to pay for  cannot be completed because all the money you earn reverts to zero if you go back to the menu's;  plus, there are  other issues such as  when configuring the game to say  the camera views   if you change the default chase  camera to one of the other two  views  e.g. behind the wheel view they   reverts back to  the default view  when you  replay the game

This could be a decent arcade  game if all the  issues were sorted so that they  actually work; at least   the money  saving issue and the  inability to access the  buttons to modify  your vehicles.

The short time I played this  I enjoyed it, but   it became frustrating when every time I had to restart because I'd crashed,  all the money I'd earned   disappeared. It made it pointless to even have other vehicles to choose from as they were unobtainable.

I posted  my review on the game gveaway of the day  which you can see via the following link:

Thank you for giving this away via the game giveawayoftheday  Jurij, appreciated.  It looks a lot different from your usual arena shooters of which I  now have over 30 of you 150+ games (e.g. Battle in the Rocks 2, Alien Outpost,  Desert Fear, Horror Windmill 1 & 2, Alien City Defender, Dangerous Land 1 & 2, Apocalypse City Arena, Colony of Mars, Sinister Ruined City, Death in Fog, Dead Ruines, Dangerous Dungeon 1 & 2, Dark Apokalipsis, Witches 1 & 2, Houses in Woods, Monsters in District 1 & 2, Shooting in Tunnel, and  lots more.

Personally, I  think that you should combine   each category;  for example, all the zombies,  monster and soldier ones into three or four different much larger games.  As they stand individually I think they are way overpriced at  $5 each, but I would consider buying  them if they were combined at a reasonable price.  Add an  achievement system and definitely more  challenges, simply to survive the wave upon wave of monsters isn't enough; especially as  you only get one arena to explore. Add more such as  before you can  proceed to the next level, kill  a specific number of  monsters/zombies/soldiers/aliens, or survive for a certain amount of time, or  escape the level by finding a secret  exit, or maybe add some puzzles to solve before you can exit to the next  level/game and in my opinion  it  would  then be worth buying and probably  sell  better on Steam.

You can buy   older AAA games on Steam;  for example, Men of Valor (MOV) or the original Operation Flashpoint (the precursor to  the brilliant ArmA series), the former game (MOV) has  about 20 different missions as well as the ability to set up a server and play online with friends.  Operation Flashpoint  has a massive  area of hundreds of square kilometres to explore,  plus the ability to  drive vehicles and fly  helicopters and jets as well as many var4ied missions to complete.  I've had both of those games since release and  still haven't managed to complete either one despite having at least a thousand hours of game play  from both games combined.  Those particular games were released back in 2004 and 2002 respectively,  yet the graphic  for the Men of Valor is superior to that  from the  assets you've used via  the Unity engine.   Plus,  you can pick it up both  when on sale for less than what you are selling just one of those single level arena shooters, that  on their own become  very tedious after  several minutes of the same game play.   Operation Flashpoint, which has a massive open world environment actually sold for only   £0.69 on Steam  recently week.

I don't mean to be rude, I'm just  trying to make a suggestion that in my opinion would improve these games significantly if you combined them into a single much larger game.

I've spoken to many  Steam  community members and friends who have one or more of these games and others who have  only  got  them  for free via Falcowares giveaways. They all agree with me on what I've said above regarding the  tedious game play after a few moments. Please consider  combining all of those unity  games into a single  game.   It would be so much better and you could sell it for  a a lot more than  the asking price of  individual games, especially with 30+ levels to work through.

Steam community members like  achievements and Steam trading cards. adding those to  a steam version would make the game even more saleable.

Again, please don't take  the remarks I've made  above as a kick in the teeth.  I have been buying computer games since the very early 80's. The first game I ever purchased was called ''The Island of Artuan'', a text based   game on the lines of those old RPG books where you'd read a paragraph then  have three or four choices, each choice taking you to a different page. I paid £25 for that game (and in real terms £25 back then is equivalent to about £110 now). By todays standards  I wouldn't pay £0.10 for it, yet at the time I thought it was  decent enough to pay basically half a weeks wages for it.

I appreciate the effort that is put into most games, including yours, I just think they could be so much better if you were able to  connect all of the games you've made  (at least the arena shooters) in a single progressive game  with some sort of challenge. Once you've played virtually all of those arena games  for several minutes and got to know where  all the spawn points for ammo and health  are, it becomes almost impossible to die.

I'm sure   each of your games took  quite some time to put together, even using  the unity engine, and I appreciate the time and effort you made, but  today's gamers are spoilt for choice and can be very cruel with their  review, even when you get a decent AAA game  it can be lambasted  because of  popular reviewers giving it  a bad press.

Stay safe and good luck with your future games.

Regards

Whiterabbit01  (my Steam name)

p.s. I'd consider purchasing your games on Steam  if only to support you (as I believe   most games are under valued (in real terms) especially when you consider the price I paid for that text based adventure back in 1980  forty one years ago; unfortunately   things are pretty dire  for me financially at the moment.  So I'm unable to.

Thankfully    most of your games have appeared on the gamegiveawayoftheday  via Falcoware (though I'd still prefer   then on Steam).  I hope you get some advertising revenue from Falcoware for allowing your games to be given away?

I love these  top down shmups. takes me back to  the early days of asteroids back in the late 70's/early 80's  :)

This game could have been a decent learning tool, but  I and others who got the game for free over on the gamegiveawayoftheday site on the 16th Sept 2020 discovered  two countries spelled wrongly within the first five  countries presented, i.e Australia and Turkey were spelled Austrailia and Turky.  Getting two out of five countries spelled wrong by the developer within the first five  puzzles does not bode well for the rest of the game.

If the developer reads this I would suggest you fix the issue ASAP by checking all the spellings of the countries you've included in the game; then updating the download here on Itch.io. I assume  you can do this  by editing the  executable?

If it was corrected, this would be a decent game especially as a learning tool for kids and even some adults. It may even be worth releasing on Steam.

Another issue I would like to point out.  If  the user only has a single monitor display, the Wiki link  for each   flag/country opens behind the game, so cannot be seen, unless you close the game down.  If you could make it so that the Wikipedia opens in a window in front of the game,  it would be even better as a learning tool.

Overall I thought this was a great idea, and if fixed could be a winner; it's just a shame you  didn't bother to  check the  spellings of the countries you included.

You can see my short review of the game (which starts off positive) over on the giveaway site HERE

p.s. An aside on spelling things wrongly, but thinking they were correct:

I remember  when I was going through my teaching practice (1992); learning to be a science teacher.  I was being observed by  an examiner at the time.  I was trying to give the kids an idea of astronomical distances by using an example of how long it would take if you could walk to the sun at a steady walking  pace, which is approximately 9.3 million miles away (average 92,955,807 miles), it would take as long as  when the  Egyptian empire was  still ruling over most of the known wold (at the time Queen Hatshep, was ruling as the fifth pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt.   At the end of the   class I was given a synopsis of what the examiner though of my lesson.  Overall I was marked exemplary; however she did point out that I'd broken  a cardinal rule of teaching i.e that I'd made a spelling error,  spelling Egypt incorrectly on the white board. To me it had looked totally correct as I'm sure I'd been taught it correctly while at school  20 years earlier studying history.  I'd spelled it Eygypt;  to me it looked correct, but obviously it wasn't.

Oddly I was watching a rerun of a program on TV an hour ago called 'Celebrity Gogglebox'; where a famous musician from  one of Brit' pops big bands of the 1980's  had a similar issue with a particular word he'd always though was spelled a certain way, but  was totally shocked when he discovered (in his 50's) that he'd been spelling it wrongly.  I assume you have  the same issue  with the spellings of these countries?

This game is also available via Steam under a different name  called The Explorer. It's exactly the same  and was developeed by   Mihai Morosanu   Are BD Games and    Mihai Morosanu  the same? As  is Alien Earth 2, which on Steam is called Vogue, The Explorer and that is being sold for $5 yet is only $2.99 on Steam.  Something fishy here.

Is BD games associated with  the developer Mihai Morosanu because this game is also available via Steam under a different name  i.e. Vogue, The Explorer.

You can see it  via the following link and its being sold on Steam for $2.99 as opposed to $5 here.  Is this an asset flip, or is BD games Mihai Morosanu ?

https://store.steampowered.com/app/875550/Vogue_The_Explorer/

Okay, it's working now. your last update must have done the trick.    Would love to see the  original  free version included with this one on Steam, maybe add as a free dlc.  ;)

Thanks for the information.  I'll   try   your suggestions  then report back to you.  I'm very busy at the moment, so it'll probably be later this week at the earliest.  Regards Whiterabbit

p.s. I emailed a reply as well.

Hi,  hope you figured it okay.   I sometimes change my  resolution when playing older games that  only play in a window. The lower the resolution, the  bigger the window becomes.   Take care and stay safe in these uncertain times.

I don't check my friends requests often.  If you do send a request, let me know via this thread as well;  as I get notifications   when  a reply to a thread is made.  Also let me know your Steam name as I have  around 50 pending  requests (most  send request because they want something from my Steam inventory;  I tend to only accept friends request from  community members who have friends in common, unless I've specifically invited   people.  :)

Hi Wadey Pie,

You could always  change your screen resolution temporarily to accommodate the game, just right click on your desktop, click on display settings, the scroll down to display settings. I know this is  'maybe' a little inconvenient, especially if you don't use one of those programs that keeps a memory of where your  desktop icons are placed as  sometimes changing resolutions can upset the arrangement.

The following  links  may help:

p.s. please don't take the above as a condescending reply.   I was just trying to help. I'm also sure there are convenient freeware programs that can help with  resolution changes.

Excellent breakout, with some  really nice features. I love the quirky graphics. I've played a lot of  freeware breakouts  over the years and this definitely stands among the best freeware breakouts (e.g.  Beat Ball,  DX Ball,  Peoing,  Jardanians,  Jarkanoid 3, Powball and Takamaru to name a few of the freeware games I still play occasionally) .

I'd love to see MadCowBalls on Steam;  I would be happy to pay the same price as MadCowsBalls 2 (which I purchased but can't get to work {possibly due to running Win 10 Pro}. Personally I think your v2 is worth more than what you are selling it for).

I've played hundreds of breakouts  since the very first one was released back in the 1970's;   I spent a small fortune on  the original Breakout  via one of those  stand alone  cabinet games from the late 70's  (while I was in the army over in Germany; it used to cost 1 Mark  for  three  goes -  that was  about £0.33 at the time as the pound was devalued while I was over there)  and throughout  the 80's they were popular in most  public gathering places.  They even had ones  where you could sit down and play via a table  like cabinet.

I think this free version is well worth some money.  Maybe you should add it as a DLC for  your Steam version?  I realise you have to pay to get  games  on Steam, so you could  ask the community via the  news page  for MadCowsBalls 2,  to gauge whether it would be profitable.  I don't know Valve policy, but they do allow  free games on their site.  Maybe it could be added aas a free DLC for MadCowsBalls 2.  That may evn boost sales for  your commercial version?

Sadly   breakouts don't seem to have been very popular for the past decade, at least with developers.  There have been a few decent ones released   since  the seminal Ricochet Infinity was released back in 2007, but generally breakouts  are sorely deficient on both Steam and generally.  :)

I purchased this via Steam  when it was released as I love breakouts; but I  cannot get the game to work.

All I get is the installer window (see attached image) with the two Start buttons for Arcade and normal play plus the other  buttonssuch as Options,  Exit etc, but none of the buttons work.  I've tried every  key on my keyboard and my mouse to no avail.

To the developer Martin, please help.  You can email me on Whiterabbit-uk@hotmail.co.uk

I was so pleased to  see  the release of renaissance last year. I bought the original many years ago before it became free to download and loved   the innovative ideas that were included.  I'd just like to say thank you for the Steam key. I prefer playing my games via  the Steam client, so was pleasantly surprised when I  saw your email  about the update to the game, which I   downloaded once I'd signed into my Itch.io account, then I saw the  offer of a Steam key. Very much appreciated as I've been on a very tight budget for the past year..

I have   a massive collection of  breakouts, but most are  either sub par,   or lack something that makes them a great breakout. I think  your game has the makings of  one of the best (my favorites include the Ricochet  franchise, Arcon Toys, Breakin, Incrediball - The Seven Sapphires, Ploing 2, Little Gods, Rival Ball Tournament, all of which were made around the same time as  your original game and all have something  special about them. There are others, but  I've forgotten the names of them offhand). The only issue I have with  Renaissance is the  ship speed. It always feels really sluggish.  I also think the initial ball speed is very slow.  Would it be possible to include the ability to select different start speeds for both the ball and bat/ship at the beginning of the game via the options?   I'd also like to see  the ability to select different shaped ships/bats  and  balls. This would give the ball movement  a more random  bounce from  either the ship/bat  and when it hits   the various objects/brick  in the game.  Adding different types of  missiles such as  guided missiles,  lock on missiles etc, exploding balls, mines sweepers and satellite balls that revolve around the main ball would also be nice to see in the shop.
